I joined MEKSI founder Dr. Jawahar Thomas at the University of Melbourne MD Students Conference. We were at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, talking to medical students about MEKSI.
In the original post, I invited anyone in Southbank to come down to Plenary 6 and say hello. There was a prize involved, and I offered a few tips to improve people’s chances.
What we’re building with MEKSI
Outback Yak is MEKSI’s primary technology partner. Our work supports text, audio and video learning experiences grounded in medical research and pedagogy.
Those formats matter because the product has to support how students learn. The engineering follows from that: how someone interacts with the material, how a conversation works and how the experience fits together.
For us, working with the founder includes being there when students encounter the product. It keeps the people using the software close to the people building it.
